Senior Pastor
Rev. Don Tabberer
Pastor Don came to Sand Springs UMC in June 2011 after serving churches in Mangum, Oklahoma and Turley, Oklahoma. He received his Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma and his B.A. from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri. A native of the Kansas City area, Pastor Don and his family moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1985. Prior to entering seminary, Pastor Don served as Music Director at Heritage UMC in Broken Arrow.
 
Pastor Don is married to Linda and they have two sons, Christopher and Brian. Christopher is married to Jana and they have two daughters. Brian is a student at Oklahoma City University. 
 
 
 
 
Director of music and Drama Ministries
Alan Parker
Alan came to SSUMC in August 2004. He has served in music ministry at churches in Norman, Oklahoma and Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Oklahoma and spent seven years as a singer and technical director with Cimarron Opera Company. After moving to Tulsa in 1994 he was a teaching artist in music and drama through Harwelden Institute for several years while also working in music ministry.

Alan is married to Janet and they share their house with two dogs and a cat. They enjoy traveling, camping, and scuba diving.

Graeme Collett
Graeme joined the SSUMC team in June 2010 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Go Pokes! Graeme is married to his beautiful wife Jetonne and they have a dog name Bullet!

Prior to joining the staff at SSUMC Graeme was leading and directing a Non-profit organization called WildCard Missions International that sent mission teams to Uganda and Mexico. Graeme was also an active volunteer at his church in Stillwater in both Children and Men’s Ministry prior to joining the SSUMC team. Graeme also served as a part-time youth director at Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings, Nebraska in the summer of 2006. Graeme is currently enrolled and attending Youth Academy, which is a 2-year program to help better equip youth leaders for ministry. Graeme is a native to the “Great White North” - Canada and loves Hockey, but calls Tulsa home and loves OSU Football!

Tracey Ginn

Tracey was born in Wichita, Kansas but moved to Huntsville then Arab, Alabama by the time she was 4. After a small time in Waco, Texas and Miami, Oklahoma, her family settled in Sand Springs in 1971 and 10 years later, Tracey graduated from Charles Page High School.  She is proud to have raised her daughter, Lisa here and feels blessed Caleb & Lisa are raising their children, Gracey Kate & Jayce in Sand Springs as well. 

After graduation, she spent 15 years working in a couple of large company preschools before coming to Sand Springs United Methodist Church in January, 1999.   “I am thankful I can work in my hometown and be near my family.”  Tracey enjoys music, reading and among other hobbies, she most enjoys her 2 grandchildren.

I have been a lifelong Methodist, starting in Chetopa, Kansas.  I received a Piano Performance degree and a Music Education degree from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.  My teaching career includes Berryhill High School, Metro High School and for the last 22 years, the music, band and chorus teacher at Pretty Water School, a Pre-K through 8th grade school south of Sand Springs.
 
My husband, Bill, and I have been married for 31 years and have two grown daughters, Lindsay Buntin and Paige Gifford and two grandsons.  I came to SSUMC when Prattville Methodist and Sand Springs First United merged and am the children's music director and organist.
