Kidzone - Ages Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Kindergarten thru 5th Grade

  

At Sand Springs United Methodist Church the rotation model is used for Kingergarten thru 5th Grade Sunday School.  Rotational Sunday School concept teaches major Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops:  an Art workshop, Drama, Music, Games, Video, Puppets, Storytelling, Computers, or other educational media are the usual workshops.  The same Bible story is taught in the workshops for four or five weeks rotating the kids to a different workshop each week. Rotation Sunday School is extremely teacher friendly:  the same teacher teaches the same lesson week after week (with some age appropriate adjustments) to each new class coming in. 

 

 

Kingdom Kids - This group consists of Kindergarten through 6th Grade boys and girls. We meet every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:30.  We sing a variety of music, from contemporary to traditional and spend time at each rehearsal just praising God. Kingdon Kids participates in the annual Christmas Program.  We also perform at church services every month or so. 

 

Children's church is also offered during the worship service for children 4 yrs to 4th grade.
